I don't think as many people are familiar with this record as others such as Wonderfulness or Why is there Air? but it ranks right up with them. 200 m.p.h. (understandably, album-only as it's the entire second side) is him at the peak of his storytelling powers. Spot-on, and a must for any fan of Coz.

When I was a child, my Uncle Greg introduced me to Bill Cosby on vinyl albums (yes, I'm showing my age, LOL). Since then, I have owned his recordings on cassette tape and some CD's. This album has been THE most elusive in finding. THANK GOD I joined iTunes. This is the only place I have been able to find ALL of Bill Cosby's best stand up comedy. When I listened to him that first time, I remember lauging so hard, tears coming out of my eyes and trying to catch my breath. To me, 200 MPH has to be one of his best.
Very Funny, RIP Carroll, Thanks For Your Car Designing Genius.

Bill Cosby is, by far, my favorite stand up comedian of all time. 200 mph is my second favorite album of his. I think this is an excellent album. The first few tracks are good. The 200 MPH routine is where this album shines. Cosby gets into a groove and it comes out wonderfully. The punchline to 200 MPH is perhaps the only time I've heard Cosby make an overtly political joke. As noted previously, there's very little in the way of stories about his family or youth, but virtually every other Cosby album has one or both of those. This is a very unique album. Definitely worth a listen.
200 MPH, at last

I've had an old tape of this since 1979 and I roll on the floor to this day dispite the crackling, unmodern sounds coming out of my head phones. This is some of his best work. Thank you for digging this up out of what ever dust crusted box in the attic you found it.
GREAT SONGS DOG.

The family stuff is pretty timeless, and is good for a few laughs. But the real gem is '200 M.P.H.', which is a must-listen for any auto fans. Worth the money for the entire album.
