Reviews

  • Great music but not their best

I am a big fan of Amaral after visiting Spain and discovering their music there. They are one of the most popular acts in Spain and are well deserving of that claim. Gato Negro Dragon Rojo is their prior release before the new effort called Hacia Lo Salvaje. Gato Negro was a triumph of musical talent with strong and unique styles and original compositions. And while Hacia Lo Salvaje is good music, it lacks much of the powerful emotions and diversity found on Gato Negro. If you like the newest release from an act, get it; it is worth the purchase. But if you want the best from a band regardless of when it was released, grab Gato Negro Dragon Rojo.
