So tired of these "workout" albums which, like another user stated, are the same songs we hear on the radio, just sped up and 'enhanced' with one of your VERY standard synthesized beats. This is not workout music - It's Kids Bop redone. Where is the energy, the beat and above all, the originality. Workout music should inspire, not make you want to stop everything and find something else to do.
  • Workout??

The songs are energetic, however for mainly people on treadmills. As an album for the gym, this is a horrible mix of music.
  • For fitness instructors

Power music is a company that remixes music in even 32 counts for fitness instructors for choreographed Hi/Lo or step aerobics classes. I am so happy to see these on i tunes for about $10 less than I usually have to pay. If you are looking for music to to do your own workout to look for DJ mixes.

i know the point of this is to get an upbeat song to workout but these songs just got completely butchered. don't buy this if u like the regular version and if u don't, still don't buy it cuz it would be a waste of money!!!!
  • This music is meant for group exercise instructors

These music CD's are made for aerobics instructors. See the part that says 130bpm? That's 130 beats per minutes. As a step aerobics instructor, I need songs that are between 126-130bpm. The music sounds corny, but it's necessary to keep your class the correct speed.
  • aweful!!

This is seriously aweful! The WORST selection of work out music I have ever listened to. It was a waste of my time to listen to this terrible selection of garbage.
  • Workout music is what it is called!!!

Obviously those who hated it probably did so because it made actually have to work out instead of walking on a treadmill or working out your finger on the remote. If you don't like it shut up and put another Twinkie in your mouth

This mix really is exactly what it says it is.... all of the songs were top songs of 2010. You either like them, or not! If you want different songs, there are TONS of other playlists by Power Music you can download online, right into your iTunes on your computer. They have great alternative music etc... At least the Artists they get to perform are good! That hasn't always been true.
