  • Fantastic Upgrade!

I loved watching this film on TV every year! I was thrilled to record the music on cassette tape in 1971. Luckily, even at 15, I was thinking forward enough to use a really good brand of tape, because I've played it thousands of times over the years-and it has held up. At this point I feel like I'm pushing my luck (even though I have a backup copy), so I'm beyond happy for this affordable fabulous upgrade!

I was born in 84, but was introduced to this movie by my mother and thank goodness! It’s the only other Cinderella, as far as I’m concerned, and second only to the Disney version. I won’t even entertain the remake with Brandy, even though I should be happy that there’s finally a version with people of color ( The Wiz beats The Wizard of Oz ANY day!!! ). This soundtrack is just too precious to be meddled with. It would be like hearing anyone but Julie Andrews in The Sound of Music: just why??? Lesley Ann Warren just hits the spot! I would love if they would do the movie in 4K 😍😍😍! I often have these songs in my head, and my only regret is that I continue to try to sing Lesley’s parts in her pitch 😂😂😂! And believe me, I can’t! Great album and excellent musical/ movie 🥰.

I loved hearing the 1965 television cast. Great memories for a poor kid who was never going to see or hear this production on Broadway.
