A Complete was initially released as a box set for her 10th Anniversary. As it says on the box, it contains all of her singles from 1998 through 2008 with a few caveats. Firstly, CD singles with multiple A-sides--which are virtually all of her singles post-2003--are represented on A Complete with whichever song was the first track. Secondly, any singles that were dance or remix singles--like "Daybreak"--are represented with their album versions rather than any of the remixes on the CD single. Finally, some songs, like "M" and "AUDIENCE" have noticeably different arrangements on this collection than on the original singles that made them famous. Instead, they sound closer to the arrangements used in her more recent live shows. While this might read like as an exhaustive list, these are not shortcomings of the collection. A Complete still makes a great, affordable primer for people who want some Ayu in their library but find her vast discography intimidating. Ideally, if you heard an Ayu song but weren't sure which of her 10+ albums it came from, it's probably on here.
Additionally, A Complete features two new recordings exclusive to this collection: "Mirrorcle World," her 10th anniversary single and one of her best songs, as well as a re-recorded and re-arranged version of one of her classic songs, "Who…" If you already have all of her albums, these two songs are definitely worth picking up individually.
