This is not the music we're used to from Oakenfold. This is pop music. This is trash and I highly recommend doing your homework before buying albums wo a list of artists and songs. Not at all impressed, DON'T BUY IT.

Worth the buy. The kind of continuous mix you can let play and go about the day. Great blends, Great sounds, Great Remixes!! Although, I could use a little help finding all the songs... itunes does not offer a complete listing, so this was all I could contribute. 1. Stary Eye Surprise 2. (?) 3. Unfinished Sympathy 4.Set Me Free 5. My Love 6. ? (Smashing pumpkins) 7. Days go by 8. Ready steady Go 9. James Bond 007 mix 10. PLANET ROCK!! 11. You're not alone 12. Faster Kill P***y cat 13. (?) 14. Sorry (madonna) 15. (?) 16. (?) 17. Missing (ETBTG) 18. (?) 19.(?) 20. Born Slippy (Nuxx)

Over the course of time, Oakenfold has veered more towards the pop stratum of music which is ok if you like that sort of thing. However, if you have been a fan of earlier Perfecto music, take heart that this continuous mix does not disappoint. However, you CAN get the actual copy of this for less money than the download on Amazon, so caveat emptor!

I am a long time old school trance fan, but this compilation by oakenfold is not for the electronca fan but rather for the pop fan.... NOT impressed... waste of money

Don't judge a record by its cover!

BPM is way too high for me. The originals of a lot of these are great. I bought the CD and opened it based on some other reviews. Had I been able to sample the album I would have returned it to the retail outlet where I purchased.
  • This one is a gamble

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Paul Oakenfold, but this mix misses the mark; at least the first part does. Like everyone here, I had to gamble with the purchase since there are no separate tracks and a gamble it was. The first 20 minutes of this recording is way off. Oakenfold uses too many unmixed Hip Hop tracks that seem very out of place and then to top it all off he drops in the James Bond theme (again, unmixed). This throws the entire first part of this recording off track. After the James Bond theme though Oakenfold returns to the mixing that made him famous. The songs are dreamy and trancy while being very dance oriented. I still like this recording, but not as well as some of his earlier work.
