I found this song to be well written and well played. Music today is full of empty-ego and lacks soul. The emotional placing of the vocals and "ad libing" is typical of the soulful sounds coming out of the Chicago area during that era (70's). Contemporary singers today could learn something from this song.

A great collection of R&B hits mostly outside of the Motown/Stax/Atlantic realm. A great deal of good music for a small price. Buy it.

You would have a hard time finding a better colllection of music this authentic to the 60's - the early to mid 60's, that is. Some of the finest most soulful artists & songs: Hank Ballard, "Let's Go, Let's Go, Let's Go". (By the way, Hank wrote & released "The Twist" - check out HIS version sometimes - it really rocks!) ALso, the great Charles Brown and many others.
