which covers about the whole length of “Journey to the Line” is a movie masterpiece and the music is inseparable from it. Zimmer is known for his emotionally wrought cuts, but this one is a class by itself. Captures the tension, dread, horror in an oddly lyrical manner.

This complex score captures the epic as well as the lonely haunting and intimate struggle to survive and to savor one's existence.

If you liked Gladiator or Batman, you'll find something more reflective in the Thin Red Line, but nonetheless epic. "Journey to the Line" and "Light" are two of Zimmer's all-time best. "God Yu Tekem Laef Blong Mi" is a wonderful native Pijin tribal piece that reminds me of Morricone’s The Mission. I also recommend "The Village", and "Stone In My Heart."
  • Fantastic!

Hans Zimmer did an exceptional job composing the music for this masterpiece World War II saga about the Battle of Guadalcanal. Hans Zimmer is also doing the music for the upcoming miniseries The Pacific, whih follows three U.S. Marines throughout the war.
