Crappy covers of crappy songs.... NOT upbeat enough for cardio; you're seriously better off creating your own playlist. Can I get a refund please?! Just terrible

Purchased this from ITUNES as it is the best for cardio -- really fast walking and now I am jogging to it and never jogged before! Wish it were longer or that there were a Cardio 2 from Electric 80's -- It is really terrific and I wish we could see more of a similar genre for the fitness oriented crowd. Buy it.

The time I spent on the eliptical machine wizzed by listening to this music and I had a smile on my face the entire time! I hope they keep coming out with more!

I love this album! I was not a child of the 80's...I guess technically I was but I was only in grade school when this stuff was on the radio....it's excellent! It's so upbeat! I'm not talking about the mixed in beat for fitness purposes, I'm talking about the songs themselves! Yeah!!!! It's a great beat/tempo for fitness classes!
  • Not bad songs!

Richard Simmons must be all over this compilation! :) This is pretty good for aerobics and stuff, cause these songs make me wanna get up and dance. I've heard most of these songs as background music for cammercials, or on the radio.

This mix is great for aerobics class - step, boxing, etc. I teach at a major university in the city and my class of 18 - 30 year old women LOVED working out to this mix! iTunes needs more 45minute and up, 135bpm and up mixes for instructors! PLEASE!

OK, here's the deal: If you were a child of the 80s (yes, I'm talking the 40-something crowd) you will enjoy this fast-paced cardio collection. I really enjoyed the selection of songs and can put a great memory with every one of the original versions of these songs. Even though these aren't by the original performers, they are very good workout versions. NOW, if you were born any time after these songs became known as "classics", you will most likely NOT enjoy this album but there is really no reason to hate on this collection. SO, 40-ish folks, buy with confidence that you will enjoy. 30 and under crowd, don't hate on it, just don't buy.

This music has a great beat and IS really good for your running warm up, fast walking, or jogging uphill! Maybe you have to be a child of the eighties to appreciate it, but I bought five of the nine songs and added them right into my workout playlist! People who have such horrible reviews must not need exercise music!

If I were on an elevator going to HELL, this album would be playing in the background...

This rivals the Missy Elliott tribute album, and I never thought I'd hear anything worse than that.
