I purchased this album way backin 1980 with my high school best friend. We baught it on a Friday night at the mall, back when record stores were in every mall. The songs on this album have stayed with me over 30+ years, and was a welcome add to my iTunes library. Highly recommend to anyone who was a Loggins fan in the 80s. You won't be disappointed.

I had this on vinyl back in the day and wore it out! Every song is a winner, but the best (IMO) are Keep the Fire, Celebrate Me Home, Love Has Come of Age, Here There and Everywhere, You Don't Know Me and my most favorite Now and Then. If you don't own this - BUY IT!!

Having seen Kenny loggins in 1979, 80 & 81 with the band that he recorded all this live stuff with I can honestly say that this album is exactly what you heard live. Tris Imboden on drums, George Hawkins on bass and a young Guitar player that played his butt off by the name of Mike Hamilton. Hamilton is one of the best players I've seen live and he is a solo touring artist from what I gather today. Not to mention De Costa on percussion. I was amazed at Hawkins and Imbodens timing and ability to keep such a great metre throughout the entire set. Not to mention Hawkins great backing vocals. If you like sharp harmonies and crisp recording this album is a must. Listen to it at a moderate volume and it is a kickin record. Listen to it at low volume and it' nice "easy listening" ( I'm sorry if that phrase offends anyone). It's just a good listen with great musicianship all the way through it.
