Moana 2 (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)

I love it! I went to see it the day it came out in theaters and it is only the best movie in the history of the entire world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There’s echoes of the first movie and songs with a sense of “aging” up. As an album they don’t necessarily flow together style wise. It’s a quick soundtrack. There’s also no Shiny song like the original so that’s a win. 🙃

Moana 2 was amazing and super interesting. The soundtrack was very catchy, but one part of the movie was really, really, sad. Maui, Moana, and these other people were all teaming up to pull like a mountain or something but anyway while Maui was pulling the mountain, he got struck by a lightning bolt and that made him lose his tattoos then, he fell into the water and “fainted”. Moana was yelling his name out loud but he didn’t answer because he “fainted” then Moana started to cry but then Moana took care of that stuff and Maui woke up then Moana I think also got hit by the lightning bolt cause it was a monster storm that they were fighting then she “fainted” and after that, surprisingly Maui started to cry then Moana woke up and Maui got his tattoos back BUT Moana also got tattoos on her arm. 🫶 It was so good and cute.

Because it's the best songs ever I have ever seen.

This album is clearly being review bombed by adolescents who grew up with the movie only to think they’re too cool for it now. They only paint themselves as childish fools.

I love Moana

I’m Hawaiian and growing up there was never a Disney “princess” that I connected with… Moana is a relatable character and thank you Disney for making the effort in capturing my family’s heritage and sharing it on screen. Of course it is difficult to compare with how wonderful the first movie was but finally Disney made a sequel that is reminiscent to “old Disney” that focuses on values and provides heart warming original characters, music, and movie!

Best thing ever

When I heard Lin Manuel Miranda was not returning for this album, I was skeptical. Well, I’m pleased to say that I couldn’t be happier with this album. The songs on this album truly highlight how much Auli’i has matured as a singer. Her voice is so powerful and her range is also great. The music also feels less Pop-Music sounding than the first album and feels much more cultural. Beyond is an amazing song and has become one of those songs that I always have to replay immediately after listening.
