Reviews

  • Probably Dreamwork’s best soundtrack*

*except for the vocal songs, don’t think those belong in movies. They just don’t fit this one of movie in my opinion, but I think Roz’s story is number one, I could use a boost is second.

Incredibly moving score. “I could use a boost” is genuinely tear evoking . Majestic and gorgeous in both it’s grand and quieter moments .

I LOVEEEEE this movie. But there is too many sad parts. But it’s AMAZING! The animals can talk? AMAZING 🤩! I watched it at the movie theatre on October 3rd! Is there gonna be a next one? THATS ALL I CAN SAY FOR NOW!
  • Kris Bowers' Breakout Score

I never thought “Test Drive” from the original How to Train Your Dragon (and that score as a whole) could be equaled musically... but this is something else - perhaps the best musical accompaniment to a DreamWorks project in ages. I’ve already obliterated the replay button on "I Could Use a Boost" more times than I can count - especially after having seen the film. I'll be watching where Bowers goes from here with great interest - and with such a memorably catchy and practically soaring main theme in this film alone - why wouldn't I?
  • Absolutely beautiful

This soundtrack absolutely destroyed me in the best way possible. After watching the movie I immediately want to listen to this soundtrack. The emotions of each scene you can hear and it immediately gets me choked up. Fantastic job!!
