These songs echo to the heavens! If you have kids someday they will be lucky to have the best lullabies sung to them, and go RIGHT to sleep with your soothing voice! 🤣 The Swedish language is amazingly beautiful and I love learning how to sing the lyrics even though I speak English. I also like to sing with Garmarna, Heilung, Eivor, Merja Soria, Wardruna, Arkona, and others. You all have different and powerful expressions of your soul song, using neat instruments to compliment your tones. Quite a fun challenge learning to sing with all of you. It’s so rewarding once I learn a song!! 😄 You are at the top of my list of favs, so I am very happy you were able to get a compilation of your work together for us to enjoy(off of YouTube). Growing up with pop, alternative, hip hop and metal, I couldn’t have imagined these wondrous bands and singers would exist and enliven my spirit someday. I’m very thankful for this as we tend to grow out of music and need something new or different. Especially after the covid years where we were stuck inside and very isolated. These are the years of breakthroughs and awakenings! I am a mid 40’s female living in Colorado, USA. I grew up in Minnesota(which is freezing in winter, & mosquito driven in the summer..much like Sweden😅) My fathers side came from Finland around 1900, and my grandpa carried on speaking the language. It is a very hard language but I loved listening to him with the words rolling effortlessly off his tongue. Too bad I couldn’t learn it at a young age. I wish to visit all of the Nordic countries someday..to be in its vast stillness, in all of the seasons. AND..to see the Northern Lights properly, of course!!! I enjoy your YouTube videos with the drones that you immerse us with, and all that you share about your life in Sweden. Your colorful artwork is phenomenal! Thank you Jonna for finding your ethereal gift of a voice and sharing it with the world. You are a natural at what you do and your spirit resonates with so many of us, in all different countries. I first found you on YouTube years ago when looking up kulning and you are the best at it! I love animals in the forest & these noises definitely intrigue them. I can’t kuln very well myself but I try, and the deer stop and stare. Never run away. It’s amazing. My boyfriend rolls his eyes at me though, HAHA! I think we should all strive to find our voice again, and with practice we can get better. I will use these songs and hopefully sing to the birds & animals w/o my voice cracking so much someday. Keep spreading your love and the echos of the spirit within your voice! I’ve been waiting so long for The Wolf Song lullaby to be released on ITunes. Jonna sings it best hands down. The rest of her album sounds angelic and I can’t wait to explore it. 🎶😍🎶
