Lets be honest this album is pretty bad. I had this cd back in the day and I hated all the interludes and BS short tracks of random stuff. Did they not have enough songs to fill an album so they decided to throw in a bunch of other garbage to make it feel like it was mor complete? Also Ill agree with what someone else mentioned and that the only decent song on this is the Nappy Heads remix.

This album compared with their first album, "The Score," shows the Fugees developing with the times and trends. It's the Fugees with a twist. I think some are just upset that they didn't come out with more albums and songs similar with the "old" Fugees.

The Fugees come out with their first album here and it pays off. The Fugees seem to lean more into lyrical ability with this album, but they still come together and make good songs as well. One thing I like about the Fugees is they share the spotlight, showing that this is a team effort and not a one man or woman show. Wyclef and Lauryn does a nice of enough job of the prodection on the album to help make there songs more unique. They touch on some good topics as well like the song "Some Seek Stardom" which Lauryn raps on this song by her self. Basily saying that some people who get rich forget where they come from and speaking of selling out. One thing I notice about this album is they bring more of a Jamican sound more then they do with there next album. Which I like it added something diffrent to the rap game. Overall this is a really good album and is something you can listen to from years to come.

This album is medicine for the soul.. this has been missing from my collection for a long time now.. finally took the time to revamp these tracks into my existence. Love the radicalness of these three when they first came on the scene with this artwork. Recommend this if you are a fan of "them" hands down.

This CD has to be one of the most ignored gems in this genre. It's one of the best rap CDs I have heard to date, and it's worth the money you have to pay for it. Be sure to buy the whole CD, but if you don't, the best songs are Nappy Heads, Vocab, Recharge, and Boof Baf. Amazing!!!

This is a very over-rated CD, the only worthy songs are Nappyheads Remix & Vocab, and even this version of Vocab is C-grade. They were a mainly radical militant group with hard rap style, then they completely revamped their flow & style after the success of the Salaam Remi remix of Nappyheads. Listen to the original version, it's horrible, as you can tell by the popularity of only the 2 previous named songs being downloaded most. The Salaam Remi remix of Vocab is so much better than this one. To me Fugees owe a lot of their success to Salaam Remi, he is the never mentioned major influence of their sound.
