Celia's song Rie y llora still stands the test of time. It is brilliantly crafted and a lot of fun to listen too. She must have had a lot of fun recording it. -Tom Karlic

The Diva reigns supreme! For this to have been the last project that Senora Cruz completed ... I can listen to Rie Y Llora at least twice a day! It truly gets your heart rate up. I just wish I knew what she was singing about.

For the Hard Core Celia Fans, casual salsa listners, or people to much time on their hands and nothing to do but look at random albums (I am guilty of doing the same), Celia Cruz is without a doubt a must have artist. It is almost imposible to find a song that isn't 5 star quality. From songs like the well known Ella Tiene Fuego to the underrated Diagnostico, all of the songs on this CD are just a few of the examples of why Celia Cruz has the title "Queen of Salsa"
  • Excellente!

I love salsa. Its unique to the Cuban Experience. When you talk about Cuban music, you gotta mention Celia Cruz. She is definitely the Queen of Salsa or as the Cubans say, "La Reyna de Salsa." She is a great singer and she'll never be forgotten.

Major props to iTunes for putting up the full album of this and "Siempre Vivire." The song here that's missing from the partial album is "La Nina de la Trenza Negra," and I'm happy iTunes has gotten it, as that song is hot. In fact, the whole album is hot. This is one of my favorite albums of all time. It's a shame Celia Cruz isn't with us anymore recording more hip hits. One of my favorite things about Celia is the way she always adapted to the times to stay fresh. Throughout her fifty years singing, her music was never tired. She took salsa up a notch in this album with hip-hop influences. This is most notable in "Ella Tiene Fuego," one of the best songs on the album, which has a full rap sequence. I find it amazing that she was so happening at 80. Yet she still keeps it danceable for any salsa dancers out there. In fact, it's some of the most danceable salsa there is. Some of the stand-outs on this album are Ella Tiene Fuego, Rie y Llora, La Nina de la Trenza Negra, and Me Huele a Rumba. Having said that, there's not a single skippable song on this CD.
