Circle - The 1st Album

This album is so good that if Onew gets a cat, I will very seriously have to consider changing my SHINee bias. Seriously, I don't skip any songs when listening to this, and I have been listening a lot. It's all ear candy.

One of the best vocalist among the K-pop industry.

Easily the best album of 2023 released so far, there’s not a single track I would skip. The entire project is so cohesive and flows so well together, just like the title song “Circle” discusses, everything goes round and complements each other so well. And Onew’s vocals are on a completely different level. I have no words to describe them.

Onew really comes into his own with this album. The title track has a grand, reverent majesty to it. And every single B-side is charming and magical in its own way. Onew demonstrates the full scope of his artistry and vocal mastery. A true masterpiece!

It’s been awhile since I’ve listened to an album from beginning to end. This is what I call epitome of K-pop artistry. Great job Onew. You’re gonna shine with this album

It’s a rainy day and it’s chill vibes, exactly what I need for listening!

Onew’s first full length album hopefully establishes him beyond the stereotypical confines of Kpop and as one of South Korea’s best soloist with a long lasting career. This is a no skip album that has been playing on loop for me as it’s so soothing & healing. I especially love Expectation and Anywhere but all songs appealed on first listen which is an amazing feat

holding off on a thorough review until I can read the lyric translations. To the ears, it’s perfect. Onew’s solo color is a box of crayons, meaning He blends in and out of any and every genre flawlessly and seemingly effortlessly. It’s simple and complicated at the same time.
