I was very afraid ELYOYLT was the nail in the coffin. But this is such a revision for them and it works perfectly.

This is some of their best material in years. I liked Misery when it came out and appreciated them for trying to do something different, but it got old pretty quick. ELY…OYLT was sooo disappointing because it felt really phoned in and lacked the depth of previous records, and it made me lose some enthusiasm for what would be the next album. Like Love and Give Up the Ghost were a step up, but Death Is All Around blew everything since TCBHB out of the water and sparked some hope in me. The singles from this album (aside from the title track, which is one of their best songs overall) are my least favorite from it, but are good nonetheless. And we finally have some guest features for the first time since Severed Ties (technically Youngbloods), which compliment their respective songs greatly! TL;DR, this is a solid return to form for Amity and I really hope they keep it up.

Music hits everyone differently. This album for me hit me at the perfect time. I don’t wanna be the one to say this album saved me but I can say for a certainty that without this album I would be in a much darker and lonelier place. Thank you TAA❤️🤘

Like more soft songs in next album Not without my ghosts track is a masterpiece

I mean AMity Afliction writes such raw emotional heavy stuff. I didn't feel this was a spolished as some of the older albums, but that's not a bad thing. The raw emotion again is there and in your face and that's where this band shines. IF you like that then this is your album.
