Mainstream Christian music has gotten so bad. In a world of cliched music with terribly written “worship” type lyrics, SCC’s new album is a breath of fresh air. It’s what Christian artists actually had their own sound and lyrics were more than some repetitive cheesy romantic so called allegories and some line about water (rain, waves, ocean, etc). Good stuff

So thankful for new music from Steven. I own every single album he's ever released. His music has been part of the soundtrack of my life. I love his call to persevere, keep worshipping, keep trusting, remember the wonder of all God has created. And I am thankful for his honesty re: doubts & struggles all the while clinging to faith and declaring God's goodness. I appreciate too his call for kindness and his prayer for peace. Still timely & relevant. Such a gift.

Sadly SCC has to mix politics with Christ. It is not 50 or 100 years ago. Jesus told us sadly there will never be peace on Earth till He return and this pretending only one group has every experienced racism or practices it is lies. Stop spreading them.

What a perfect album for the world we are in today. SCC tackles topics like the pandemic, dissension, and loss of life, while sharing a strong message of hope and pointing the listener to God. This album moves me and (while I love all of his albums,) I would say it is one of his bests... up there with "Speechless" and "This Moment!"
