Being a huge Blondie fan since 1978, I’ve collected every album, 12” extended/remix, bootleg live vinyl, 45 singles and 8-tracks that ever was released. But this box set has some great gems that I’ve not heard. But most I have. Still it is a fun experience to listen to the set on a turntable, the way they originally were meant to be listened. And the design and book is a bonus!

Although interesting to hear how some of Blondies song started off at, there is really nothing here that would make me want to purchase this retro look at the earlier years. They have so many best of albums out already and some of those contain most of this stuff anyhow. Where is their version of More than this? Some other tunes I can find on YouTube but not here.

All I can say about this boxset is WOW!!! I’ve been a die hard Debbie Harry and Blondie fan since 1978 and to hear all of these outtakes, demos, 12” mixes and unreleased music brought joy to my ears and love to my heart! I am in awe at the full embodiment you get with this box of brilliance. I totally love the Giorgio Moroder demo of Live It Up, I love The Tide Is High demo, Mr. Sightseer is such a fantastic gem, Moonlight Drive is a song that should have been a hit years ago. I mean all of the songs are true and pure classics! I couldn’t have asked for a better boxset. Thank you Chris Stein and Debbie Harry for flooding our ears and hearts with such amazement ❤️I’ll be jamming to this for years to come!
