Blackground records kept JoJo held in a label situation where she was unable to release any music for nearly a decade! Right before she signed to a new label they took her music off of streaming services and she had to re-record her first two albums and release them in 2018. Now all of a sudden blackground is able to rerelease them for personal profits as they fully own the original masters. This is very sad because I do not believe in supporting music that is tied to manipulative ways of financial gain. It’s time to let things go. The girl has her career under control.
