How on earth can you not Include Mother one of John’s, most emotional and powerful songs in pop history? Not to mention “ woman is the n of the world, not to mention New York City what a great song. And exclude borrowed time fantastic late Lennon song is incredible. Why?

Not digging the remix sound

Not sure what it is exactly, but i've been picking up the remixes and they all sound muffled and muddy to me. While there are a lot of cool extras, for the actual albums I'm sticking with the 2010 remasters. These don't sound right. Agree with a lot of others here, the Giles Martin Beatles remixes are getting it right, these however are not good compared to previous releases. Curious what others think.

I feel like rather than just pushing up instruments that were down in the mix, or instruments that were up front in the mix down, they could have let people add newer instrumentatrions. I mean do I really need a mixed different version of nobody told me? I would rather it was totally done from the ground up with different instruments.

I own every single one of these songs; you can't go wrong buying it. There isn't a misstep anywhere (although I much prefer the older version of Grow Old without the strings). ... After reading another review, I listened through headphones and the mixes are good but are in no way up to the advertised level of improvement.
