  • Astonishing

I heard it in the excellent HBO Max series “My Brilliant Friend” and was compelled to seek it out. It’s the only series for which my family listened to the opening credits music — for every episode— instead of hitting “Skip”. The album is a superb work of art.

I regret buying this album. It’s too contemporary for my tastes. I used to listen to electronic music and have found it contributes to my moods of anxiety and anxiousness. I wish I could get my money back for this one. Sorry Mr. Richter.

Classical music rarely moves me to tears. Spring 1 caused me to weep. Not tear up. Not cry a little bit. Full on weeping at its beauty and meaning. I've never heard anything so full of hope and regret, potential and past, yearning and fulfillment. It's tremendous. And that's the first, like, 3 minutes. Still, I cry every time I listen to it.
  • Very surprised by this.

Max has stripped down Vivaldi’s masterpiece and redisplayed it in the most beautiful and minimalist way that draws you back in to the core of this magnificent composition. Do not miss this.
