When this album came out, I was excited. The album delayed for 4 years with Cash Money Records. From Wayne, he said that he changed some songs & his lyrics on those songs in the album all those years that it was waiting to be released. So I thought this album was gonna be a banger like “Tha Carter IV” album. I was kinda wrong. The album is not all that bad. There’s a couple songs on here that are bangers & there’s some that are boring. I love some of his songs on this album. His lyrical & metaphorical songs that talk about him & what he’s been through good & bad in the rap game with himself, how he became an inspiration, sex, money & drugs. The album’s like a person getting beat up badly. When the person fights back, it takes a lotta damage. After coming back harder, it wins. While the person takes a lotta damage, you expect that person to get better instead of worse. Instead that person only gets better for a short amount of time & then it fails. -That’s what this album is like. I have 17 songs outta the whole album. (17/23) Those 17 I have are the “ONLY” good songs, the rest are boring to listen to. If this album was a grade, it’d be a C-(close to a D). I really expected better from this album. I was hoping its good as C4. If you’re gonna listen to this album, I advise you that their’s some songs that are boring to listen to & will make you skip it to the next song. But overall it’s a good album.
