This has been one of my favorite bands throughout the 2000s. The sound I fell in love with is gone. I know that losing willie is a big part of what is lost. This is my least favorite yet. Not a very diverse album and not so good lyrics. I know they’ll come back and redeem themselves they are true artists.

Ketch Secor has great talent and is backed by other talented musicians. However this is no longer the band that I fell in love with back in 2006. They are doing some kind of country music that just doesn’t appeal to me. I recently saw them on this tour. I’ll probably never pay to see them again. Talent for days, but not my cup of tea at all.

I have followed Old Crow since the beginning. This is one of my favorite albums. The song writing is a step above, and the whole album feels like home. I could be anywhere in the world, but when playing this album I’m at home in the East Tennessee mountains.

Little different but love it just as much as previous albums. Songwriting on the album is a step above the rest imo. Can’t wait to see them again!

“Whirlwind” is the only gem I found on this one. Most of the vocals sound like fingernails scraping a chalkboard: precise & adept musicians but the end result sounds like over-caffeinated drunken hamsters in a spinning wheel.
