This is a very fresh and organic album. Inventive and well constructed. Rap with folk harmonies, who would have thought?
In this day of fake plastic bands cranking out songs written by marketing departments, I would have thought the days of true originality and authenticity were well behind us in music, a relic of a past golden age. I am happy to say that RKS proved me wrong.
Hooked in a second

Listened to a couple songs for a second on I tunes and was hooked. Looked them up online a minute later as I was jamming to their tunes, and saw they were performing in Indy in a little less than an hour on a Saturday night, so I bought a ticket, got an uber, and ended up having one of the best nights ever experiencing this amazing band live and dancing my butt off to some great songs. Everyone was having a blast, go see them perform, they put on an amazing show, and download this album and the other ones too immediately.

I’ve only ever heard 2 albums on par with this one.. Queen’s greatest hits, and The Killers’ Sam’s Town.. this song brings you along for the ride with major feels, and it sounds very homey, almost like you were in the studio with them. The lyrics are amazing, the beats are heavenly, and I recommend that everybody read the lyrics because they’re more meaningful than catchy, and that’s really saying something. I love this band, as they’ve helped me through so much, so I really think you should support them and buy this album(: there’s my 2 cents!
