I've known about the version of "Light My Fire" that YHU does for
a few years now thanks to Howard Stern, but I finally got around
to looking at their work... I HAD NO IDEA it was actually cool
stuff and not a joke :) I also didn't know that Dusty Springfield's
and Swing Out Sister's versions of "Am I the Same Girl?" actually
came from "Soulful Strut" originally. This album sounds great.
Awesome Introduction

This is a great album, Wack Wack being my favorite from childhood I remember listening to it on the juke box in my grandmother's salon. Doing The Thing, Dig Her Walk & Soulful Strut are splendid bonuses. Awesome way for old and new fans to groove continuiously. However, I would branch out and get Mellow Dreamin' as well. The best kept secret is Redd Holt's ( Redd Holt Unlimited) rendition of Autumn Leaves...It's Simply The Best. When I want to feel rich and elegant I usually click to Frank (Sinatra) but now I've added Redd's "Autumn" to the list. It's like a delicious pot of stew, everything in it is good to you and good for you. An excellent way to transform your mood to strong, in control yet gentle enough to lean back and relax whether you're sitting in the park or enjoying the wind in your face while riding in your convertible.
