Good effort all around. Wasn't sure what to expect without Peter in the band, but there are a lot of good songs on this album. Kevin writing some very personal lyrics. They sound tight.
  • Best full album I've heard in a long time!

Great tunes all the way around. Can't get enough of it. One of the best rock album releases I've heard in a long time.

Probably the catchiest, most cohesive rock album this year. Every song is great!

I never thought I’d be saying this but Candlebox finally made a bad album. I always felt that Candlebox was my generation’s Free (band of Paul Rodger’s fame) a group that was forever labeled a one hit wonder yet made great album after great album. With Disappearing the band sounds as if they were aiming for today’s hard rock radio sound. The album lacks any of their staple melodic, pretty songs like COVER ME, SOMETIMES, IT’S ALRIGHT, BREATHE ME IN, LOVER COME BACK TO ME, TURN YOUR HEART AROUND, it also lacks the hooky anthems like YOU, FAR BEHIND, CHANGE, 10,000 HORSES, A STONE’S THROW, STAND, UNDERNEATH IT ALL, and it definitely is missing any straight forward rock that would fit in any era like HE CALLS HOME, THEM EYES, etc. So essentially after naming 15 songs from a band labeled a “one hit wonder” i feel a little let down that this album failed to provide my taste buds with anything worth listening too.
  • Another rock solid album

I've been a huge Candlebox fan since I saw them open for Rush back in 1992 (or 93?) I wasn't crazy about the album Lucy, but every other album has been awesome. I love the passion of their songs and the intricacy of the guitar and drumming. Kevin Martin's vocals and lyrics are amazing. For me, the songs Spotlights and Alive at Last are 2 of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. I haven't seen them in concert since 1992. But I'm definitely going to catch them next time around. Thanks for everything you guys do!
