  • Great New Worship Songs

I wouldn’t describe this album as musically bold or cutting-edge, but it does seem that this CCM legend has combined an array of influences that are both tried-and-true and completely up-to-date in order to craft an impressive collection of worship songs. With simpler and more repetitive choruses, this album does sound like a worship album. But that doesn’t mean it doesn’t maintain elements that distinguish it as Steven Curtis Chapman music. With these songs, Chapman carries important and sincere lyrical content on memorable and passionate melodies that are fit to be sung in churches. As one may be able to predict from song titles like “One True God” and “God of Forever,” this album focuses on core Christian beliefs about the character of God and the nature of salvation. “Amen,” which bears some of the sound of Steven’s co-writers from Rend Collective, is a Raucous and celebrative anthem that echoes the message that salvation comes by grace alone through faith alone. Early favorites: “More than Conquerors” and “Amen” are my favorites so far, but “God of Forever” and “One True God” also stand out to me. There isn’t a song on this album that I don’t like.

As a daily listener of Steven for a solid 15 years (I'm only 21), I have always hoped for him to do an all-out Praise & Worship album, & he does not disappoint on this particular project. Thank You for your continued dedication to providing us with wonderful uplifting music, this album is an absolute blessing that I have stuck on replay throughout my other 22 albums! Blessings Brother!!

I'm about to turn 25 yrs old & I got to say that he has truly been a blessing to me through out my whole life. I've been listening to his music since I was 7 yrs old. I didn't understand much at that age but as I grew I understood his message through this songs & it has helped in many aspects. I love this man even though I don't know him in person but his integrity & love towards God is an example to me. Hope to meet him some day. Blessings Steven C.

Steven Curtis Chapman does not disappoint with his new release. Considering the personal tragedy he endured when his adopted daughter was suddenly killed, when his music shares about trusting God, and God turning darkness into light -- it is real, and Steven has experienced what he is singing about.

Can somebody help?! I'm missing number 12 and 15. In the iTunes Store it says I've purchased them but my music isn't showing them at all. ☹

I like musically his older sound but this is still a great album. Lyrically this is good too even though I like a lot of his older stuff a lot. I know God will use this for good!
