I like the story that was told in the book which is slightly different from other Everest-related books out there. However, I found the book was poorly structured and poorly written. It seems to me that the author felt bitter toward his own Everest climb experience and wrote the book hastily while his emotion was still high without re-reading or proofing before published it. There are other poorly written mountaineering books out there but one would expect a journalist to write better than mountaineers.
