A TikTok sensation! Sparks fly when a competitive figure skater and hockey team captain are forced to share a rink.

Anastasia Allen has worked her entire life for a shot at Team USA. It looks like everything is going according to plan when she gets a full scholarship to the University of California, Maple Hills and lands a place on their competitive figure skating team.

Nothing will stand in her way, not even the captain of the hockey team, Nate Hawkins.

Nate’s focus as team captain is on keeping his team on the ice. Which is tricky when a facilities mishap means they are forced to share a rink with the figure skating team—including Anastasia, who clearly can’t stand him.

But when Anastasia’s skating partner faces an uncertain future, she may have to look to Nate to take her shot.

Sparks fly, but Anastasia isn’t worried…because she could never like a hockey player, right?

I can count on one hand the amount of books I couldn’t finish in my lifetime. Now I’m adding this one to the list. There’s simultaneously too much going on and absolutely nothing of importance going on and I don’t think I’ve ever been so bored while reading.

The plot gets so lost in the back and forth. The writing style was that of a high schooler. From the cover it looks like an innocent read, but it’s far from it! Do not let the cover fool you. This book is for mature readers. 18+ or older. It felt like a 50 shades of hockey and ice skating.

Loved this couple, their story, and their bond. Wish I could have gotten more about their later life, like a short story about their wedding and the births of their kids, but overall enjoyed it.

nathan apologizing for not f-ing anastasia was my last straw. couldn't finish book. heroine has no redeeming qualities about her, nathan is an obvious depiction of female worship. could not tell u the plot of this book if my life was on the line.
