    You are absolutely going to love Slater! Once you start reading it pulls you in and you can’t stop. Rebecca James is the deputy mayor of Minnow, she gathered info that was being used in a racketeering scheme against her town. Slater is one of the FBI agents working on shutting down the scheme that has been working in several states. Becca the opposite of the type of woman that he is usually attracted to but Slater can’t get Becca out of his mind. It is fun to watch another of the team fall. They are working together to make sure that the town is safe and the Becca is safe from the racketeers. She is afraid to get serious with Slater, she is nothing like the type of woman he would go out with. They are too different, he is tall, dark and handsome and she is short, brunette, always in the background. Slater likes a challenge and he will get his girl and the bad guys!
