This book from the beginning was an absolute wow, the exemplification of Quran verses were given with amazing uplifting examples hence stories and not only Quran stories but every day life style examples, old school theories to modern day examples.This book has changed the way I think and the confusion that creates in the modern day Islamic teaching to say. It is a must read :) salaam to you brother for writing such an amazing book ! ✌️

The book is an eye-opening to the way Islam addresses a beautiful character, heart. It is eloquently written and a book that must be read several times.

This book written by shaykh Hamza Yusuf as a translation and analysis of the poem from the author is a very essential guideline and healing to hearts especially Muslims especially in this day in age of spiritual deficiency. It is challenging nevertheless very prudent just to be aware and cognizant of the diseases and cures of the heart. I have learnt a great deal from it ever since I took the class with shaykh Hamza in Hayward CA back in 1998 before the book was written and am still trying to make it a part of my life, pray that Allah makes it possible one day. I pray that Allah rewards both imams i.e. The author Of the poem and shaykh Hamza.

Everything about this book was amazing. If one, truly and genuinely, apply the teachings of this book into his/her own life, they will be guided to a great path. God willing. Can't wait to re-read over and over again.

i think every muslim, if possible non muslim should read this book, the wisdom in this book is really eye opening and would probably change your life.
