The beginning of the book claims they took the most common words in Hindi and listed them for us. This is just another one of those "cookie cutter" books where the EXACT same list of words is used for every language they're trying to teach. That's cheap, lazy and deceptive. A very small fraction of these words would actually make it onto a proper list of the most used words in Hindi. They only have a few categories (no categories for words like house, table, chair, car, work, book, sit, walk, etc. because apparently Hindi speaking people don't talk about those things) and they completely missed words very common in Hindi and included words that are very rare in Hindi. For example, where is 'elephant' in this book? Are they honestly saying 'turkey' is more commonly used than elephant in Hindi? Seriously? I give it one star because they included a few lame sentences so you can at least figure out a few other words in the process and the second star is for providing the book for free, which is exactly what it's worth.
