    I agree with the other reviewer. Ignore the left wing whining in the other reviews. Look at what’s happening in this country right now. Yes, this is fiction, but it’s certainly possible and quite believable. I have always liked Coonts work and this one doesn’t disappoint.

    I looked his earlier works like America and Cuba, and the one where Tommy goes to Versailles. But this sad, conservative snowflake of a sour grapes letter presented as a commentary of the perils of progressive immigration, the debilitating effects social services that feed the needy, and the destruction of law and order by the "ghetto rats is nothing more than an old white man's fever dream about dragging America back to the warm embrace of McCarthyism. I bought this for $.99 and feel cheated by that and the time I wasted reading it. If you think Fox News is saving America, that white men are victims, and that no man, woman, child, or pet should ever leave the house without the comforting presence of an American made firearm, then you will absolutely love this book. If you aren't living in daily fear of Muslims, Mexicans, or blacks, and if you get your news from NPR and the New York Times, and see immigrants as investors in the future success of America you will not only hate the book, you will become inexplicably curious about how warped ones influences would have to be to result in such a fearful, xenophobic, pessimistic state of paranoia.

    Could not be more disappointed with this purchase. Coonts slanted, ill-timed hit job on President Obama was disgusting. Guarantees I’ll never purchase another book by this “author”
