Such tragedy all around but in the end things were on the way to healing hearts.

I never read books but needed to start somewhere, I was looking through free books on apple and just clicked this without even reading what it’s about. I’ve been dealing with grief and this was the first book I can say that made me feel like I wasn’t alone. 10/10 I hope this can become a movie 😭 can’t wait to read the next book ASAP side note: read this whole book within a day I gave all my attention to it

A really great story. Full of insight into grief and life. I’m even spending the money for the 2nd book!

  • Wonderfully written but should have come with a warning

This is a beautifully written book about love, loss, and the journey THROUGH. I got it as a gift but it should have come with trigger warnings. Do not read this if you’ve recently lost a family member or if you’re new to navigating THROUGH a difficult journey of your own unless you have strong support structures in your life. It tore down the carefully built walls but I just couldn’t stop reading this achingly realistic story. Trigger warnings for loss of family member/spouse, depression, substance abuse, and PTSD. If you read to escape life for a few hours, this isn’t the book for you. If you read to know that you’re not alone in your hurt, then this should resonate with you. If you’re a strongly empathetic person, pick something else.

This was a fantastic story about loss. The characters were great and the story was interesting. Although it was a sad story full of grief, the author was organized and the story was well developed.

Fast moving, well focused and believable story of a fatal accident and how it changed the lives of the survivors.
